Lambing 2017


Just as the soil is starting to warm and the snowdrops rise their heads from the cold of winter, the signs that summer lies just around the corner are everywhere to see.

Spring is my favourite time of year on the farm, getting the lambing shed ready for the imminent arrival of this years lambs is a truly magical time.  Each year we make lambing special by taking a picnic in the lambing shed with wine and cheese we watch as new life is all around us and often our time is interrupted by yet another arrival and some activity around ensuring that the latest arrivals are able to suckle.

It really is all about not having the most in life,but simply taking the time to make the most of what you have.
