Grow your Social Media Sites with Pinterest

Firstly we are Farmers, not social Media experts, so please accept our apologies if this is teaching you to suck eggs (do people really do this? I certainly wouldn’t do this without washing them thoroughly first).

We found this great way of growing your likes follows and subscribers using Pinterest so thought we would share it.

Further to writing this post we have also added our aboutme business card, which is a great way to share all of your social accounts.

We used an IPad for this but a a conventional laptop will do the same, assuming you already have a Pinterest account and have downloaded the app.

Step 1 create your board using the + sign and give it a Title, we called ours “Our Social Sites”

Step 2 using google images search for each of your social network logos ie facebook hold your finger on the image and it will give you the option of saving to your camera roll, we did this for facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, WordPress etc.

Step 3 use the + sign and select photos, add each of the saved images each time selecting your board ie “Our Social Sites”

Step 4 Edit each of your pin logos using the pencil icon which appears when you click the image, some may have existing content such as originators websites, we always add our company location in places, and the full link for our site for example “https://uk.pinterest.com/oaksbarnfarm/” pintrest would not accept Bitly shortened links saying that these would attract spam.

Step 5 Share your new board On each of your social sites asking your existing followers to follow you on Pinterest  your link will read like this https://www.pinterest.com/oaksbarnfarm/our-social-sites/

Thank you for reading if you have any difficulty with the above, find a small child and get them to help you.

Please like share subscribe and rate, It’s a Social Thing!
